Hi there! My name is Ashley Bauer and I am the Career Connections teacher at Utica Middle School.

I am here by way of CTEC, who does an awesome job of supporting our learning. In Career Connections, we focus on building students' employable skills (collaboration, professional communication, problem solving, public speaking, self direction, tech literacy, etc.) through hands-on activities and experiences. For example, students will have a chance in 7th grade to build marble roller coasters, learn how to create medical sutures, solve a crime, and build a marketing campaign for a product that they create.
