Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Theresa Skinner. I graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. My educational licenses include Elementary K - 8 and Specific Learning Disabilities K - 12.
I have been teaching for 32 years ~ 19 of those years have been at Utica Middle School. I am thrilled to be teaching Informational Technology. I will also have the privilege co-teach in a 7th grade math class with Miss Rexrode. I have taught Informational Technology for several years, after a very long run of teaching middle school math. This year will hopefully be the "Best of both worlds"! I enjoy watching the excitement of students grow as they learn new skills. I look forward to seeing great progress made by my students this school year.
