Course Description

 

American Government is a graduation requirement for all juniors.  The course will study the American political system at all levels with an emphasis on the federal government and the Constitution.  Students will be required to research government topics and current events with their I pads.The fourth nine weeks will be devoted to meeting the state Financial Literacy requirement.  There is a state mandated, end of course test all students must pass.  Students will use their I pads to do course research, read primary documents, read about current events, turn in writing assignments, and take online quizzes and tests. Class schedule and assignemnts can be found in the syllabus, and on a weekly basis in Progress Book under Homework
