~ School Closure to Continue ~
On Monday, March 30, 2020, Governor DeWine announced that schools will continue with the closure until May 1, 2020, due to the coronavirus. He indicated that at that time they will evaluate the direction for all K-12 schools.
Next steps: (Students should already have their work for the week of March 30, 2020.)
BEGINNING THE WEEK OF APRIL 6, 2020:
We will continue with our virtual learning plans. Staff will continue to create lessons for each of the weeks we are missing face-to-face instruction.
High school students who are unable to work electronically will be able to pick up hard copies (packets) and drop off completed assignments at the high school from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays.
Middle School pick-up/drop-off will be 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Newton Elementary will be 10:00 a.m. - noon and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Utica Elementary time will be 10:00 a.m. - noon and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
ALL BUILDINGS in the district will be closed beginning Friday, March 20, 2020. Thank you.

The Ohio Department of Health has activated a call center for COVID-19 that is open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., and the number is 1-833-427-5634.
Also, the state has developed a new website dedicated to COVID-19, which will be the best location to find information regarding the virus in Ohio. www.coronavirus.ohio.gov.
