Welcome! My name is Caleb Hickman, and I am the agricultural science educator for Utica High School. I graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 2016. Following high school, I received my undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in 2016, where I graduated as a distinguished senior in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resources. I completed my graduate degree at the University of Kentucky in 2022 while working as a research assistant in agricultural education. In 2023, I became a National Agriscience Teacher Ambassador. This program taught me how to provide more academic rigor in the agriscience classroom.
I am thankful to be teaching back home. Growing up in Knox County and belonging to the Mount Vernon FFA Chapter, I always wanted to return home to teach agriculture. I enjoy reading, writing, listening to music, and eating new foods in my free time.
I also serve as the advisor to the Utica FFA Chapter. Make sure to follow us on our social media pages!
