My name is Mrs. Julie Zimmerman
I'm the Visual Arts teacher here at Utica High School! 
 
The following courses are offered to 9-12th grade students:

I started teaching at Utica High School in 2015.

I have developed a curriculum here that is cohesive and allows for flexibility.

I taught art on the east side of Columbus, Ohio for 8 years.

I graduated from North Canton Hoover High School in 2002.

I extended my love for art by attended The University of Findlay and graduated in 2006, with a Multi-Age License in Arts Education & Studio Arts degree (pre-K - 12th grade) 

I am married to my best friend, Brian, who is a fish biologist at The Ohio State University, and we have one daughter, Alivia.
 
I enjoy photography, ceramics, and painting! iPads and technology are used on a regular basis in all art classes daily through research, images, uploading of projects to Progress Book for assignments, surveys and discussions.
 
 I hope to instill the love of art, in each student who takes my classes.
