After School Intervention

After School Intervention

After School Intervention

After-school intervention is an opportunity for all students to receive additional help and time to work on academics in a low-pressure atmosphere. It is offered from 2:30-3:15, Monday through Thursday.

There are three ways a student may be signed up for ASI:
1. Assigned by teacher:  Teachers may assign a student to attend after-school intervention. This is not treated as a punishment, but students are required to attend once they have been assigned. Teachers may assign a student to ASI if they have missing assignments or if the teacher believes they need a little extra time to study and/or work. ASI may also be assigned if a student needs to make up a quiz or test.

2. Assigned by parent/guardian:  As a parent or guardian, you may sign your child up for ASI. If you believe your child needs a little extra time to work or if you are unhappy with their current grades, feel free to sign your child up. This may be done by contacting Ms. Nichole Williams (room MS 308), Mrs. Susan Fairbanks (HS 105), or the main office with the contact information below.

3. Voluntary attendance:  Students are more than welcome to voluntarily attend ASI! This is a great opportunity tocomplete homework at school or study for an upcoming test. Students do not need to formally sign up; they may come and go as they please.
