Welcome to 2^nd grade! My name is Carrie Sichina. I have been teaching grades K-2 for the last 10 years and love it! It’s so exciting to watch the joy and excitement of young children as they learn and gain confidence in their abilities to read, write, and do math.

I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Master’s in Early Childhood Education. I started my teaching career in the Southwest Licking School District where I taught Kindergarten for 8 years. I have been teaching 2nd grade here at Utica Elementary for the past two years. I love Utica Elementary and I love teaching where my children attend.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Josh, who is also a teacher in the North Fork School District. We have three daughters, Madison (age 9), Claire (age 7) and Elise (age 3). They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies I enjoy are shopping, crafting, and reading. I look forward to meeting you and your student at Utica Elementary!
