This will be my 12th year working as an Intervention Specialist at Newton Elementary and my 28th year in education.  I previously taught at Flying Colors Preschool for 16 years teaching both general education as well as special education.  I am originally from Pennsylvania so I am a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan, however I do love the Ohio State Buckeyes!  My family still lives in PA so I enjoy traveling there and spending my time with them on the weekends, holidays and during the summer.  I attended college in Pennsylvania and have my B.S. in Elementary Education.  I also have an Intervention Specialist certificate and Reading Endorsement through Muskingum University.  I completed my Masters Degree in June 2021, and am very proud to say that I have achieved my Masters in Education from Muskingum University!  I look forward to having a great 12th year at Newton Elementary.
