The Utica High School Student Government is a member of the National Association of Student Councils.  It is open to all high school students. Members are volunteers who desire to help organize school-wide events and community services.

Student Government officers are elected in the spring for the following year. Annual events sponsored by the Student Government includes Homecoming, Red Cross Drives (up to 4 a year), The United Way Week of Caring, various Christmas projects, and other special events/needs that present themselves.

Student Government members must be dedicated to assist the student body in creating a generous culture. Each year scholarships are given to seniors who qualify for the Drive to Serve Scholarship presented by the Central Ohio Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross

Meetings are scheduled monthly, but due to the fact that Homecoming is usually early in the fall multiple meetings are often necessary.
