I grew up in a small town in Ohio called Martins Ferry.  I moved here with my husband in the summer of 2000.  We have two children, Matthew and Hailey.  I graduated from Ohio University in 1998.

I have been teaching at Newton since 2000.  I started here teaching as a Title One reading teacher. After several years of teaching Title, I then began teaching fourth grade.  I am currently the fourth grade ELA teacher.
