  Sept. -Oct. News
1. Interims are complete and are posted for the first nine weeks. If you need login codes for Progress Book, please contact Kim Watson.

2   I conference individually with each student about their grades. I am really proud of the lifelong skills they are developing right now.  Responsibility and organization will serve to be very valuable  skills for their future success.

3.  As a reminder, any graded paper can be redone for more points with a parent signature.

4.  On Friday Sept 22 there will be a school wide pep rally at the high school - Wear your school colors :)
5.  State Reading test will be the week of Oct 23- 27
6. If you are a parent that would like to send a snack, read a story, do a science experiment, make a craft or play a game during our fall fun day on Oct 31 please contact me. I sign parents up so that one parent is with the class at a time. Let me know if you are interested  .

I do not assign homework. Students are given time in class to complete all assignments. If a student does not complete our in-class assignments, then they are expected to complete the work at home as homework.
Students are currently setting personal and academic goals for Leader in Me. Ask your child about their personal goals.
Reading practice is available at Kids A-Z.com and the Ohio Department of Education's website under third grade practice tests.  Students also have practice opportunities if they log into their Freckle account, there they will find practice stories and questions that are in their "assignment section/ their backpack". If you have any questions or concerns about reading goals or testing, please contact me via Dojo or email.
All assignments can be fixed for more points with a parent signature: the goal is to get better. Mistakes happen, what is important is a growth mindset. :)

I want to thank all of our third grade families for their support and dedication.

If you have any questions please reach out,
