Welcome to my page!
My name is Abigail Doup and I am an 8th grade ELA teacher at Utica Middle School. I am married to Justin Doup and we call Utica, home. We have a Labrador Retriever named Boone and six goats. The Nigerian Dwarf goats are: Mickey, Duke, Willow, and Rue. Our Pygmy goats are: Bonnie and Clyde. I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, and watching/playing sports. This is my fifth year teaching and my fourth year in the district. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science - Adolescent to Young Adult Education degree, with a minor in English for AYA Integrated Language Arts (7th - 12th grade). I previously taught remedial ELA for the Muskingum Valley ESC at Perry Multi-County Juvenile Detention Center (2018-2019) in New Lexington before taking a position at North Fork Local Schools. For the past three years I have taught at Utica High School. I currently coach high school volleyball at UHS, this is my third year. I am excited to be a part of the middle school staff!
