~ Substitute Teachers Needed ~

The North Fork Local School District is always in need of substitute teachers for our elementary, middle school, and high school buildings. If you have a desire to work with students, requirements and applications can be found here. All of our substitute teachers must first be approved by the Licking County Educational Service Center. If you have any questions, please contact Laura Cunningham at the Licking County ESC, 740-349-6087, or lcunningham@laca.org.  Thank you for your interest in our schools!

"The Leader in Me"

Newton Elementary and Utica Elementary will be implementing The Leader in Me program beginning with the 2018-2019 school year. The Leader in Me is a whole-school transformation model, developed in partnership with educators, that empowers students with the skills they need to thrive in the 21st century.

Thank you to the following for their donations that will allow our district to implement this program in our schools.

 SuperDuty Truck Parts, Inc.
F. Richard Heath
Bruce Farms
Park National Bank
Ariel Corporation

We are still seeking donations for this program from individuals and businesses. If you are interested in donating, please click here for the pledge packet. All donations are greatly appreciated!

School Safety

Please take the time to talk with your children about how important it is to let someone know when they hear, see, or know about a potential issue that could affect them. Most times students will have knowledge way before any adult will. Knowledge is power and being aware of things can minimize the tragedies that we are facing today.

Also, please have a conversation with your children about the serious nature of making comments to their friends, on social media, etc. that could be taken as a threat of any kind. Although the student may think the comment is "funny" and they were just "joking," these types of comments will be taken seriously and law enforcement will be contacted immediately.

Keeping all students safe is our top priority. Thank you for your help!
