This is my eighth year teaching at Utica Middle School. I’m an intervention specialist and I teach resource history for 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Prior to coming here, I was at Newton Elementary for 13 years. My first teaching assignment was at Flying Colors Public School Preschool, Licking County's public preschool. I graduated from Bluffton College with a bachelor's degree in elementary education (1-8) with kindergarten, preschool and preschool special education certificates. I earned a master's in curriculum and instruction through Ashland University and received my Mild/Moderate Special Education certification (K-12) through Muskingum College. I am a proud graduate of Licking Valley High School. My daughter Michaela is a freshman at Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana.
