Mr. Spung has been teaching in the district since 2008. He attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University where he obtained his bachelor's degree in mathematics and teaching license. In 2017 he completed his master's degree from Western Governors University in mathematics education. Over the years in Utica, Mr. Spung has taught a variety of mathematics courses including 7th and 8th grade Math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Transition to College Math, College Algebra, Statistics, Precalculus/Trigonometry, and Calculus.
